About Traveling Sales Yogi
Welcome everyone! My name is Aura Durante, but am also known as Traveling Sales Yogi on social media. I am a 200H RYT, graduating from Cathy Madeo Yoga School in 2021.
While I have been practicing yoga in some form since 2018, I began my consistent practice in 2020, after recovering from COVID-19.
As I continue to grow and develop myself as a student of yoga, as well as an instructor, my goal is to create a TSY (Traveling Sales Yogi) community by empowering other practitioners to be their most authentic selves, both on and off the mat.
About the Classes
I have always had a passion to fight social injustices, but have been uncertain on how to start/ overwhelmed by all the organizations there are fighting the fight. Shortly after I began my yoga teacher training, I realized I could combine my newfound love of yoga and my desire to make a difference.
These classes are once per month by design. They are intended to be a launching-off point for others who are also overwhelmed with options or simply struggling with finding ways to contribute to the fight for social justice and equality.
Each month, 90% of all donations will be donated directly to that month’s organization. The remaining 10% will be used to help maintain this website and Zoom account.
